A New Kind of Photography Company

Posted by & filed under Updates.

Welcome to the new home of Hendry Photography.  My name is Gabe Hendry.  My wife Teresa and I have been providing professional portrait, event, & commercial photography services on and off for 10+ years.  In 2010, we scaled back our projects to friends and family as our son Elliot crawled and toddled through his first few years.  It has been a sweet time as a family, and we have learned a lot more about life and the need to record it.

As new parents, we have had several experiences with other photography companies and have been very frustrated by the business models of traditional photographers.  Our lives and the way we want to use our photos has changed significantly.  No longer do we think soley about 8x10s in glossy or lustre and wallet sizes to share with friends and family.   We want our images online, on our phones, and on our computers.  We want to create memory books on Blurb or Snapfish without breaking copyright laws and infringing on the photographers that took pictures of our family.  In the end, we see a huge demand for a different kind of photography company.  It has been, and will continue to be our belief that your images are just that – yours!
